With this bundle you will be set up to handle any blocking incident in SQL Server.
Blocking queries can lead to deadlocks and too much blocking can cuase your SQL Server to become unrepsonsive and lock up.
Address blocking in SQL Server before it happens, before it causes you stress!
Includes one on one training for SQL Server query blocking. Hours are on an as-available (non emergency) basis.
Coaching works like this:
- 2 hours of expert mentoring by Steve Stedman is included in this course.
- We then meet via a Teams or Zoom meeting for a mentoring session.
- The 2 hours can be used for one long training session on several shorter sessions. Recommended to go with 4 sessions 30 minutes each to monitor and learn how to find and deal with blocking queries.
Blocking Query Monitor includes:
- Logging of blocked queries, including the top blocker, and the queries that are being blocked.
- Email alerts when a blocking query above user defined thresholds is hit.
- Number of queries being blocked, who the user running the blocking query is and a history of how often that blocker is causing blocking.
